Bureau Stracture

The Bureau Governing Council was inaugurated on the 8th June, 2020 by His Excellency the Executive Governor of Jigawa State Alh. Muhammad Badaru Abubakar mon, mni. The Council has a total of 13No. members drawn from various field of endeavors and profession. Seven members (7No.), including the Chairman are from the private sector while the remaining 6No. are from Government side making a total of 13No. The Governing Council is the highest authority for the Bureau and responsible for approving rules and regulations.

The Management team of the Bureau is headed by the Director General, appointed by His Excellency the Executive Governor, as Chief Executive and the accounting officer. The immediate officers under Director General are the Bureau Secretary/Legal Adviser, Assistant to the Director General, Director Admin and Finance and internal Auditor who assist in the day to day administration of the Bureau.

Under the Office of the Assistant Director General, which is a creation of the Bureau, there are six number (6No.) principal officers heading various departments i.e. Building, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Water Engineering and Local Government Unit for effective performance.

Presently, the Bureau has a total of 55No. Staff under its employment and deploy additional to perform specific assignments on contract basis, as the need arises.
